      The last game of Day 2 at the 2019 Little League Baseball World Series saw the Mid-Atlantic Region Champions from Elmora Youth Little League in Elizabeth, N.J., pull out a 6-2 triumph over the Northwest Region winners, Sprague Little League.

      The Mid-Atlantic team trailed 2-1 in the top of the fifth inning when Jayden Capindica singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

      Yadi Mateo was the winning pitcher for Mid-Atlantic, going 4 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out six. J.R. Rosado threw 1 1/3 innings in relief.

      LLBWS Tournament

      Gavin Price took the mound loss for the Northwest, scattering five hits and fanning four,  while allowing five runs over 3 1/3 innings.

      Cameron Van Kempen started the game on the mound for the Northwest, but surrendered one run, on one hit, and striking out two in a single inning of work.

      Riley Wilson, Sullivan Puckett, Spencer Shortis, Cameron, Carson McNally, and Van Kempen each managed one hit for the Northwest team from Salem, Ore.
