Pabao Little League from Curaçao has claimed its second victory in the Little League Baseball® World Series, topping Conquitlam (Canada) Little League, 8-1.
The Caribbean Region Champions opened up scoring in the first inning. Shendrion Martinus doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. They went on to score one more in the first, two in the second, and four in the fifth to secure their win. They had nine hits throughout the game.
Keven Rosina pitched a complete game for Curaçao, striking out seven, walking one, and letting up only three hits and one run.
Canada started Timmy Piasentin on the mound. He struck out eight walked one before Brady Dorwart came in for relief to finish out the game.
Caribbean will play again on Tuesday, August 20 at 3 p.m. in Lamade Stadium against Latin America.
