Due to the high volume of rain at the Little League International Complex and the likelihood of additional inclement weather, the Little League® International Tournament Committee has announced that all games scheduled for Tuesday, August 21 have been postponed.
To provide the best playing conditions for all teams, the Little League Baseball® World Series will resume play with four games on Wednesday, August 22.
Originally scheduled for August 21, Game 21 between Caribbean Region (Guayama, Puerto Rico) and Canada Region (Surrey, British Columbia) and Game 22 between Great Lakes Region (Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan) and Southeast Region (Peachtree City, Georgia) will be played tomorrow, August 22, at 3 p.m. at Volunteer and Lamade Stadiums, respectively.
The games scheduled for August 22, Game 23 between Asia-Pacific Region (Seoul, South Korea) and Japan Region (Kawaguchi, Japan) and Game 24 between West Region (Honolulu, Hawaii) and Mid-Atlantic Region (Staten Island, New York) will be played at 7:30 p.m. at Volunteer and Lamade Stadiums, respectively.
The U.S. games played on Lamade Stadium will be broadcast on ESPN, while the International games played on Volunteer Stadium with limited coverage on ESPN3, as well as live look-ins on ESPN.
The full Little League Baseball World Series schedule for Wednesday, August 22 is as follows:
- Game 21 (Volunteer Stadium): (V) Caribbean Region vs. (H) Canada Region – 3 p.m. (ESPN3 – click here to watch)
- Game 22 (Lamade Stadium): (V) Great Lakes Region vs. (H) Southeast Region – 3 p.m. (ESPN)

- Game 24 (Lamade Stadium): (V) Mid-Atlantic Region vs. (H) West Region – 7:30 p.m. (ESPN)
Due to the limited coverage of the games being played on Volunteer Stadium, instant replay will be unavailable for those games.
“Playing all four games tomorrow afternoon will allow our grounds crew to prepare our stadiums for play, while also allowing the fans who are visiting the Little League International Complex a fun, exciting World Series experience,” said Patrick Wilson, Little League International Tournament Director. “Little League International greatly appreciates the teams, families, and all our fans support and understanding as we endeavor to find the best opportunity to allow the tournament to progress, while keeping Friday, August 24 available in the event of unforeseen scheduling issues. We sincerely hope that this schedule will provide a wonderful playing experience for the teams and viewing experience for our fans.”
Consolation Game B between the Northwest Region (Coeur D’Alene, Idaho) and the Europe & Africa Region (Barcelona, Spain), originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 21 at 11 a.m. has been postponed until Thursday, August 23 at 11 a.m. on Lamade Stadium on a network to be determined.
