Southeast got on the board in the first inning. Jack Ryan singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Southeast pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Tai Peete was struck by a pitch, driving in a run and Chase Fralick grounded out, scoring one run.
Jansen Kenty was the winning pitcher for Southeast. He went six innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out nine and walking zero.
Brennan Hill took the loss for Great Lakes. He surrendered four runs on three hits over one inning, striking out one.
Great Lakes smacked two home runs on the day. Jarren Purify went deep in the third inning. Oliver Service had a dinger in the second inning.
Wills Maginnis went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Southeast in hits. Southeast was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Chase made the most plays with nine.
Jarren led Great Lakes with two hits in three at bats.
