Reviewing Boundary Maps
Boundary maps are one of the pillars of the Little League® program. League boundaries help to ensure parity among leagues and maximizes the possibility of a fair experience for all leagues in our program during the regular season and tournament time.
As you may know, Little League has significantly enhanced the League Finder in which parents, players, and the public in general, are able to accurately locate which league corresponds to their local community.
More than ever, assisting leagues in reviewing the accuracy of their boundaries with the maps on file at the respective regional office has become vital to the functionality of our program. Accurate maps are an important measure to ensure that local leagues provide a quality experience to the families. This process begins annually during a league or district’s player and volunteer registration event.
How does a District Administrator review all maps in one’s district? Little League has prepared a video, which will provide you with essential answers in preparing for this task.
