Jodie Legaspi: What should the car ride home after a game be like?

Jodie Legaspi, NCAA softball national champion, suggests that parents should leave the coaching to the coaches, and to make sure the conversation on the ride home after a game is about anything but the game.

She reminds parents to make that ride time together a judgment-free space, and that children, no matter how old, need to be reassured that their love is unconditional.

ONE Softball has collaborated with the best in the game to help guide youth coaches, parents, and players through their softball journey. By providing inspiration and education on leadership, character development, and technical skill, ONE Softball hopes to better the game and bring the softball community together.
