How to Use the Little League® Name
Thank you for welcoming Little League® into your community and allowing our program to be your youth sports program of choice. Whether your neighborhood has been a part of Little League for many years or this is your first year, the name, “Little League,” and its logos and registered marks provide immediate recognition and credibility to your local league.
As much as being a chartered member of Little League gives identity and prestige to your program, it is important to remember that no local league or district can authorize the transfer or usage of any rights to use the Little League brand to any organization or company not affiliated with Little League International.
Many times, leagues are approached to sign local sponsorship agreements with businesses which ask for the use of logos and local league names, including the name – Little League. We advise that you evaluate these agreements with caution and not assign the use of the Little League name without the permission of Little League International.
