Aaron Weber, Robert Keeler, and Christa DeAngelo recently hired as newest members in Williamsport.
Little League® International has recently announced the addition of three new employees to its staff as Aaron Weber, Robert Keeler, and Christa DeAngelo join the team in Williamsport, Pa.
“We are very excited to welcome these three new members to the Little League family and are looking forward to the hard work and support each will bring in their respective departments,” said Stephen D. Keener, Little League President and CEO. “As the world’s largest youth sports organization, we continue to work hard to provide the best possible opportunity to all of our participants and volunteers, and thanks to the help of our dedicated staff, we can offer the necessary resources and guidance to make positive Little League memories and experiences possible.”
Mr. Weber was officially hired in September 2017 as League Development Assistant Manager, Mr. Keeler began in August 2017 as Facilities Technician, and Ms. DeAngelo was named Retail Store and Customer Service Manager in July 2017.
Aaron Weber, League Development Assistant Manager
Mr. Weber comes to Williamsport after recently graduating from Penn State University in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Studies Education. During his time at Penn State, Mr. Weber has served as a Constituent Services Intern for Congressman Tom Marino, an Assistant Grounds Keeper for the Williamsport Crosscutters, and even spent a summer working as a coach for the Little League Baseball Summer Camp. Since 2013, Mr. Weber also assisted in the planning and organizing of the Penn State IFC/Panhellinic Dance Marathon (THON) and has been named to a variety of honors and leadership societies among Penn State students. In his new role with Little League, Mr. Weber will assist the Senior Director of League Development and Regional Operations in administering a program designed to increase awareness and growth of the Little League organization as well as manage all partnerships and programs associated with the League Development Department.
Robert Keeler, Facilities Technician
Mr. Keeler is no stranger to Williamsport after spending the last four years as a custodian for the Williamsport Area School District. As part of his role with WASD, Mr. Keeler was responsible for general upkeep of the building, maintaining the building and classrooms he was assigned to, as well as the set-up and break-down for special events. Last summer, Mr. Keeler also held a temporary position as a custodian/groundskeeper where he was responsible for mowing and upkeep of the property, general landscaping, as well as the everyday maintenance of the school property. In his new role with Little League, Mr. Keeler will perform tasks involving construction (such as electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance), maintenance on HVAC and other building systems, and repairs to facilities and grounds.
Christa DeAngelo, Retail Store and Customer Service Manager
Ms. DeAngelo joins the Little League staff after spending nearly 20 years working for Macy’s Inc. After starting out as a sales associate in 1999, Ms. DeAngelo soon was promoted to sales manager where she managed the department store’s operations, provided leadership for a 100-person workforce, and partnered with a district team to deliver all company initiatives. During her service as sales manager, Ms. DeAngelo was also a three-time recipient of the “Make Magic Award” for achieving best results in sales, store credit and coaching associates to drive key ideas. In her new role with Little League, Ms. DeAngelo will be responsible for the daily operations and management of the Stadium Gift Shop, Museum Store and various seasonal locations.
