On Friday, November 11, the Little League® International Board of Directors welcomed its four newest members at their annual fall meeting in South Williamsport, Pa. Taking their seat on the Board in 2016 are John Boyd (Europe and Africa Region – London, England), Antonio J. Gonzalez (Latin America Region – Cayey, Puerto Rico), Shannon Walker (Central Region – Newark, Ohio), and Travis L. Young, Sr. (Southwestern Region – Warren, Ark.).

Patterson, and Kristian Palvia for their service, dedication, and commitment to Little League during their time on the Board.”
John Boyd has been involved with Little League for 30 years, serving as a District Administrator for nine years while also holding positions as a coach, manager, and League President. Mr. Boyd takes his seat on the Little League International Board of Directors in succession of Kristian Palvia of Skovde, Sweden, as the Europe and Africa Region Field Representative.
Antonio J. Gonzalez has been a volunteer with Little League for 21 years, serving as a District Administrator for Puerto Rico District 14 for the last seven years while also spending time as a coach, manager, and League President. Mr. Gonzalez takes his seat on the Little League International Board of Directors in succession of Dr. Noel Corrales, of Guatemala City, Guatemala, as the representative for the Latin American Region.
Shannon Walker has been a volunteer with Little League for 20 years, serving as a District Administrator for eight years while also serving as a coach, manager, League President, and an Assistant District Administrator. Ms. Walker takes her seat on the Little League International Board of Directors in succession of John Edgerle, of Wyoming, Mich., as representative from the Central Region.
Travis L. Young, Sr. has been a volunteer with Little League for 39 years, serving as a District Administrator for the past 24 years and has previously served as a member of the Little League International President’s Advisory Board. Mr. Young takes his seat on the Little League International Board of Directors in succession of Joe Patterson of Seguin, Texas, as the Southwestern Region Representative to the Board.
Mr. Boyd, Mr. Gonzalez, Ms. Walker, and Mr. Young are each eligible to serve four, one-year terms on the Board of Directors.
