Little League® International is pleased to welcome Delaney Joyce as its new East Region Assistant Director, effective as of June 3, 2024.

“On behalf of the entire East Region staff, we are excited to welcome Delaney to the Little League team,” said Aaron Weber, Little League East Region Director. “Delaney’s previous experience working as a youth educator, along with extensive history both playing and coaching softball, will make her a valuable asset to the operations here in Bristol and will bring the necessary resources and support to the local leagues across the East Region.”

In her role as Assistant Director, Ms. Joyce will assist Mr. Weber at the East Region Headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut, supporting the operations of the districts, leagues, and volunteers across Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Delaware, Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, as well as operating the respective East Region Tournaments for both Little League Baseball and Softball.

“I am thrilled to begin working for Little League, a program that I participated in as a child,” said Ms. Joyce. “Baseball and softball have made such a huge impact on my life, and I can’t wait to see the impact it continues to have on current and future Little Leaguers, their families, volunteers, and my new colleagues committed to the success of the program.”

Ms. Joyce joins the Little League team after most recently working for the Gananda School District in Walworth, New York, as a K-12 English as a New Language educator. Ms. Joyce also has experience working as a Softball Coordinator for interscholastic athletic programs in Wayne County, New York. With a deep understanding and love for the game, Ms. Joyce has also spent time as a varsity softball coach.
