Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, has announced a three-year extension of its partnership with Little League® International. With the extension, Canon will continue to serve as the official camera and printer of Little League Baseball and Softball, the world’s largest youth sports organization. In the past three years, the partnership has allowed baseball and softball fans from around the world to utilize Canon PIXMA printers along with EOS and PowerShot cameras to share photos and messages of encouragement to Little League players that are printed and displayed throughout the Little League Baseball® Regional Tournaments and World Series each year.

As part of the sponsorship, Little League will continue to maintain low team affiliation fees and provide valuable training and educational resources to coaches, parents, umpires and volunteers. Through onsite activations and digital promotions, Canon enhances the fan experience through the entire Little League season and at the Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport.

“It was an easy decision for Canon to continue its relationship with Little League International after three extremely successful years,” said Yuichi Ishizuka, president and COO, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “We look forward to continuing to raise the bar and introducing fans from around the globe to the power of preserving Little League memories through images captured and printed on a Canon.”

This year, Canon encouraged fans around the world to make the season last a lifetime by submitting some of their favorite photo moments to the Canon Little League Photo Contest. By submitting photos, fans were given the chance to win one of three trips to join actress Candace Cameron Bure in South Williamsport, PA and see their photos on display in the World of Little League Museum in the Richard “Hank” Bauer, Jr. Little League Photography Exhibit in the World Series Gallery presented by Easton Foundations.

“We are excited Canon has renewed its partnership with the Little League World Series,” said Liz DiLullo Brown, Little League Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships. “Little League is more than a youth sports organization, it is a youth leadership organization, and thanks to the support of our national sponsors like Canon, Little League is able to provide parents a healthy, affordable recreational outlet for their children.”
