The Access and Opportunity Fund is the embodiment of Little League’s core value of inclusivity, actively working to dismantle global youth sports participation barriers and create new transformative ways to participate in the program. This fund paves the way for programs that not only increase the diversity of players in Little League but also cultivate an environment where every child feels they belong. By contributing, you are supporting a broader initiative that champions equity.
Philanthropy
For nearly a century, we have been at the forefront of the youth sports industry and an iconic name in communities all around the world, but we still have so much work to do in order to bring the benefits of participating in youth sports to more children and families. And to do that, we need your help.
Donations made to Little League® Baseball and Softball not only allow us to keep the cost of membership affiliation to local communities low but also allow us to provide additional programming support such as grant assistance for equipment, registration fees, field refurbishments, volunteer training programs, assistance after natural disasters, and more.
Little League Baseball, Incorporated, the formal name of our 501(c)3 non-profit, is a tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax deductible. You may choose to direct your donation to our general operations and grant making initiatives or specify your donation to specific programing described below.
Social Impact
We prioritize inclusion as the intentional part of our culture, which is created when we provide equitable opportunities, access, and respect for individual differences and perspectives. As the world’s largest youth sports organization, it is our responsibility to lead the way and be at the forefront of making significant, positive changes that address pressing social challenges. As an organization, thanks to the continued support of our partners and supporters, we remain committed to focusing on key strategic priorities including:
Remove barriers to participation, including financial and family circumstances, and create opportunities to promote the inclusion of female participants and volunteers in Little League.
Employ a player-focused philosophy in all aspects of the Little League program, including strategic planning, decision-making, resource allocation, and customer service tactics.
Implement a league acquisition strategy that creates opportunities for turnkey affiliation, focus on attracting the youngest players, and utilize game modifications to stimulate more interest.
