Held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, The World of Little League® Museum and Official Store (252 U.S. Route 15) will be offering visitors a chance to make their own succulent planter craft just in time for Mother’s Day and the beginning of the Spring season.
“For the first time, our Museum is offering its visitors an incredible opportunity to come in and create a custom planter with the help of one of our local gardeners and plant enthusiasts,” said Lance Van Auken, Little League Vice President and Executive Director of the Museum. “This is a perfect opportunity for visitors of all ages to come out to the Museum and create a memorable craft while also having a chance to learn more about gardening and explore the history of Little League throughout our Museum.”
Hosted by Vicki Killian of South Williamsport, the event will offer two crafting options to participants: a star- or heart-shaped dish for planting. For only $20 per registrant, participants will be provided with all the necessary materials, including a container, succulent plants, sand, gravel/charcoal, rocks, and shells, to create a memorable craft as well as instructions and education on how to properly care for the plants. Along with the excitement of the event, all registrants will receive free admission to the Museum that day.
Reservations may be made by May 1 by contacting the Museum at 570-326-3607 or by email at [email protected].
