Little League® International welcomed the addition of four new members to its headquarters staff. Embracing a variety of roles and responsibilities, these new team members play an integral role in ensuring that millions of children have a meaningful Little League experience in communities around the world.
Joining Little League are:
Grace Christenson, Sponsorship and Marketing Coordinator
Ms. Christenson joins the Little League International Marketing team after serving as the Marketing Coordinator for the Shanahan Law Group in Raleigh, N.C., since 2014. Ms. Christenson has also had experience as a Promotions Assistant for Durham Bulls Baseball, a Sports Marketing and Promotions Intern for University of Mary Washington Athletics, and a Marketing and Community Relations Intern for Newport Gulls Baseball. A 2014 graduate of University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) and History, Ms. Christenson also was a captain on the women’s club soccer team.
Steve White, Programmer/Analyst
Mr. White joins the Little League International Information Services Department after serving as the Programming Lead and Senior Programmer at Computer Support Services, Inc. During his time there, he was the primary software developer of an enterprise-level business process management solution used by several national and international organizations, including multiple Fortune 500 companies, healthcare systems, government contractors, financial firms, and professional sports franchises. Mr. White graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in computer Science as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Security.
Vicki Derr, Materials Management Administrative Assistant
Ms. Derr has been named full-time as the Materials Management Administrative Assistant after serving in a part-time role for Little League International since 2015. As part of her role within the Materials Management Department, Ms. Derr is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing purchase requisitions, maintaining records and files related to purchasing activities, assisting with equipment, supply, and inventory management, and providing additional assistance to the Director of Materials Management. Prior to her time with Little League, Ms. Derr has had 20 years of experience working for the Federal Government, three years of County Government experience, and four years of experience working in an accounting firm.
