This holiday season, the World of Little League® Museum will once again be giving families in the community a chance to make their own holiday decorations with a holiday ornament painting event on Saturday, December 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Museum guests can paint their ornament for the cost of admission to the Museum, which also grants full access to explore the Museum that day. Ornaments will be provided to all interested guests (while supplies last) and reservations are encouraged by emailing [email protected], but are not required. Additionally, the Museum’s Official Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for any last-minute shopping needs!
Featuring exhibits and artifacts for visitors of all ages, the World of Little League Museum is open Thursdays through Mondays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. Additionally, groups are welcome to schedule private tours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the year by emailing [email protected]. For more information, including prices, directions, and more, visit LittleLeagueMuseum.org.
TOYS FOR TOTS REMINDER: Visitors with a giving heart will once again have the opportunity to earn free admission to the World of Little League Museum this holiday season thanks to the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Each visitor who brings a new, unwrapped toy with a value of at least $10 to the Museum prior to Friday, December 13, will receive one free Museum admission for later use as a thank you for supporting the local Toys for Tots program. Toys collected at the Museum will be given to the American Rescue Workers and the Salvation Army for local distribution in Williamsport, South Williamsport, Loyalsock Township, Cogan Station, Trout Run, and Linden.
If visiting the Museum throughout the week, be sure to also stop by the Little League Flagship Store (located along the left-field line of Volunteer Stadium) or visit ShopLittleLeague.org. The Flagship Store is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET but will be closed on December 23-26 for the holiday and again from December 31 through January 9.
