Little League® International is pleased to announce the hiring of Amanda Cropper-Rose as its new Creative Director, effective April 24, 2023. Mrs. Cropper-Rose rejoins Little League after serving on the Graphic Design team from 2014-22.
“We are thrilled to be able to welcome Amanda back to our Little League team and look forward to her leadership, creativity, and professional expertise as we continue to find new ways to bring the Little League story to life in communities all around the world,” said Kevin Fountain, Little League Senior Director of Communications. “The Little League brand has been a storied tradition for more than 80 years, and as we continue to evolve and adapt our program, we look forward to working with Amanda to bring the organization’s values and identity to life in a modernized and consistent way.”
Mrs. Cropper-Rose first joined the Little League team in 2014 as a Graphic Designer, and in 2020 was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer where she served until 2022 before going to work as an independent contractor for Insight Global at The Home Depot in 2022. During her time with Little League, Mrs. Cropper-Rose has helped to modernize the look and feel of the Little League program, enhanced the visual display throughout the entire Little League International Complex, and provided a more consistent, creative approach to all of the communications efforts of Little League International, including the award-winning Girls with Game campaign that began in 2019.
“I am excited to rejoin my team and continue to evolve the Little League brand,” said Mrs. Cropper-Rose. “As a child, my peers would often ask me if I was going to be an artist when I grew up. Unaware of the opportunities available, I would respond quickly with a ‘no,’ however, as an adult my eyes were opened to the many paths you can take as a professional Graphic Designer. I intend to use my position as Little League’s Creative Director to inspire our youth to use their artistic abilities and pursue careers in design.”
In this role, Mrs. Cropper-Rose will be responsible for the oversight, development, management, and maintenance of all visual design and branding elements surrounding the Little League organization while creatively communicating ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate the program’s audience in support of the Little League Baseball and Softball corporate initiatives.
A 2012 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, Mrs. Cropper-Rose also has experience as a Graphic Designer for The Gallery at Penn College as well as The Printed Page in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and has also been serving as a freelance designer since 2012.
