Letter From The Chairman
As another Little League season ends, all who love this great game reflect on the amazing memories that were made, the daunting challenges that were overcome, and the bright future that awaits in the year ahead.
A Series To Remember
While the 2021 Little League® World Series may have looked different than it traditionally does, the decision to hold this year’s event provided hundreds of young children the opportunity to experience the Little League International Tournament and create lifelong memories along each step of the way. Here are some of the exciting moments from this past year, and a look ahead to 2022.
Writing The Little League Story
While the last 12 months have been difficult for all our leagues, volunteers, and players, this past year has also brought a number of exciting news and announcements as we look ahead to the future.
Keeping The Postgame Talks Going
While some leagues were unable to return to the field in 2021, Little League made sure to keep the conversations going both on and off the field over the past 12 months, bringing relevant and engaging content directly to its audiences through its digital and social media platforms.
Rally Around Your Community
Over the past year, it has been the commitment of our volunteers and families that have helped us to get back on the field and bring the Little League experience back to children in thousands of communities around the world. To help provide guidance each step of the way, Little League launched a variety of updates and resources this year to support local leagues.
We All Share This Series
Bringing back the Little League season, from the local league to the World Series, took the unified dedication and commitment of all of our players, volunteers, supporters, and staff together as One Team. One Little League. Here are just some of the great supportive efforts from this past year that helped us get to this point.
Honoring Award Winners
While the traditional Little League Awards program was not held in 2021, Little League International recognized a number of deserving individuals for their commitment to the program, service to their community, and representation of the Little League program.
Alumni Success
The 2020-21 fiscal year also saw a number of success by Little League alumni, who represent the impact that the Little League program has not only on the field, but off the field as well.
