Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League® program assists children in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. In an effort to ensure these values are upheld, Little League International has created these position statements that must be observed at all levels of Little League.
Definitions
- Little League International: This refers to the overall organization known as Little League Baseball, Incorporated, or Little League Baseball and Softball (hereinafter “Little League International”)
- League(s): This refers to each league and/or district, chartered with Little League International, which operates within a specific community’s geographic boundaries with a local Board of Directors elected by the membership (hereinafter “Leagues”)
- League Officer(s): This refers to the local Little League(s) Board of Directors elected by the membership within each League (hereinafter “League Officer(s)”).
- Little League Trademarks: Throughout this policy, all registered and protected names, logos, and designations are collectively referred to as the “Little League Trademarks.”
- Sports Connect: Stack Sports and Stack Pay, Playmetrics, or other associated / affiliated companies or services operated as a part of Little League local league technology requirements (hereinafter “Sports Connect”)
