As we celebrate another successful Little League® season filled with historic firsts, let’s take some time to reflect back on the incredible displays of teamwork as we rallied around our communities to ensure each of our players had a season filled with fun.
GROWING THE GAME AND SUPPORTING LOCAL LEAGUES Around the World
From organizational initiatives to the support of Little League’s official sponsors and partners, this year saw a number of ways to support and grow local leagues in communities around the world, both now and for the future. Below are just some of the key moments from this past year, and we look forward to bringing the values of the Little League program to life in 2024 and beyond.
LEARN MOREHISTORY MADE: AU PRO GAMES AT THE LLSWS
All 60 professional softball players made the trip to Greenville, North Carolina, for the first-ever AU Pro Games at the LLSWS on August 8-9.
Celebrating Girls with Game All Year Long
In addition to celebrating the Girls with Game Initiative throughout the month of March, Little League continued to celebrate the women and girls at every level of the program through conversations, events, and inspiring moments. Learn more about just some of these notable moments below.
Announcing Girls with Game 50 (GWG50) in 2024
In celebration of 50 years of female inclusion and the 50th Anniversary of the Little League Softball® World Series (LLSWS) in 2024, Little League® Baseball and Softball was pleased to announce the launch of its “Girls with Game 50” Campaign (#GWG50) as part of a historic day at the AU Pro Games at the LLSWS, marking just one of the many ways the organization is strengthening its strategic focus on female inclusivity and opportunity. An expansion of the Girls with Game celebration held every March, the #GWG50 campaign will be a year-long celebration that includes a series of interviews, digital content, feature stories, in-person events, unique activities, and more to celebrate the importance of the past 50 years. With the campaign set to officially kick off with the start of 2024, Little League is proud to unveil the official #GWG50 logo, creating the foundation for the year-long campaign and activations that will continue to be unveiled as the 2024 season draws closer.

Focusing on our Female Initiative
Promoting and encouraging female participation in Little League is paramount to our core values of inclusion and building community. As we endeavor to create equitability in our program, bring new training opportunities to coaches and volunteers, and grow support for local leagues, it is imperative that Little League communities work together to create new opportunities to attract and keep girls in the program.
A World Series Filled with Fun and Firsts
In addition to the first-ever Athletes Unlimited Pro Games at the LLSWS, this year’s World Series Tournament saw a number of other first, including:
Photo Contest Sees Record Submissions in 2023
More than 3,100 submissions were received over the course of two months, and the top three photos also received direct entry to the 2023 Professional Baseball Photographer’s Association Photo Contest for the first time ever.
