Little League Road Show Plans Stop in
Quebec
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (March 12, 2008) – Local Little
League administrators will gather in Brossard, Quebec, Canada, on
Saturday, March 15 at 9 a.m., to participate in a Little League Road
Show. This clinic is one of several training and information seminars
conducted in recent months by Little League Baseball and Softball at
various locations throughout North America.
The Road Show at the Bibliothèque de Brossard, 2001 Rome Blvd,
Brossard, Quebec, is aimed at sharing Little League’s services and
educational materials with local leagues. Little League staff members
from the Canadian Region Headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario, will be
administering the clinic.
Scheduled to attend the Road Show are Little League International
staff members: Patrick Wilson, Vice President of Operations; Nick
Caringi, Senior Director of Operations and Education; and Dan Kirby
Director of Risk Management. Also scheduled to attend, are: Joe Shea,
Canada Region Director, and Roy Bergerman, President of Little League
Canada.
Currently, Canada has more than 44,000 players and nearly 3,200 teams
playing in 149 chartered Little Leagues. The first Canadian Little
League programs were chartered in 1950.
