Little League Road Show Coming to Ashland
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (March 12, 2008) – Local Little
League administrators will gather in Ashland, Ky., on Saturday, March
29 to participate in a Little League Road Show. This clinic is one of
several training and information seminars to be conducted in the
coming months by Little League Baseball and Softball at various
locations across the country.
The Road Show is aimed at sharing Little League’s services and
educational materials with local leagues. Little League staff members
from the Central Regional Headquarters in Indianapolis will be
administering the clinic.
Currently, there are 13 chartered Little League programs in Kentucky
District 6. In Kentucky 28,900 players participate in the Little
League program. Collectively, they form 2,061 teams and 96 leagues.
