ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF INSURANCE OPERATIONS
:
Little League International is currently recruiting a full time
Assistant Director for our Insurance Operations Department. Our
ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in
Business/Finance and 2 years of work experience in insurance or
risk management, with underwriting and/or claims experience and
excellent computer and communication skills. Knowledge of
property/casualty/health insurance is required with professional
designation preferred. Also , knowledge of rules and regulations
of Little League Baseball preferred. This exempt professional
will be located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, which is the
Headquarters for our youth sports organization.

MEDIA
RELATIONS DIRECTOR:
Little League International is currently recruiting a full time
Director of Media Relations. Our ideal candidate will have a
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field and a
minimum of 5 years of post-college work experience in a
communications field. This exempt professional will be located
in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, which is the Headquarters for our
youth sports organization. The Director of Media Relations will
be in charge of all media relations and primarily
respond to all media inquiries and assist in all
communications-related aspects for our international non-profit
organization. In addition, this position will manage media
relations during special events and assist with news releases.
Our candidate will possess strong organizational and
communication skills and have an
interest in baseball/softball. It is essential for the Director
of Media Relations to prioritize multiple tasks and projects,
and to work independently with minimal supervision. The position
does require occasional overtime and travel throughout the year.

SOFTBALL MANAGER:
Little League Baseball and Softball seeks dynamic individual to assume
leadership of our youth softball program. As a part of our Operations Department team located
in Williamsport, Pennsylvania this critical position serves as an advocate for the softball program
and cultivates new softball partnerships, develops and presents education and training opportunities
in the game of softball, and enhances participation in the softball program. Must possess a BS in
Sports Administration, Business Administration or Communications w/ exp in playing fast pitch softball
at the high school or collegiate level recommended. Effective leadership skills w/prior supv exp req'd.
Strong computer skills w/knowledge of MS Office necessary. Excellent interpersonal & communication
skills with experience making group presentations preferred.

Little League Summer Camp Employment Opportunities
If
you’re interested in teaching baseball skills to children ranging in
age from 9-14, please take a moment to consider the Little League
Baseball Summer Camps.
Little League Summer Camp Structure and
Goals
- Little League Baseball has been offering summer camps for more
than 30 years, teaching baseball skills and providing a wide range
of recreation activities.
- The Little League Summer Camps are conducted under the direction
of well screened highly qualified staff or instructors.
- The camps provide the latest training aids and instructional
techniques. All equipment used is approved by Little League Baseball
to provide maximum safety for the Little League campers.
- Performance/compatibility evaluations for each camper are
provided to parents after each session.
- The camps are designed for younger players who need more
guidance in the fundamentals of the game, while more advanced
players are challenged to sharpen their skills and try new
positions.
Coaching Position Responsibilities and Benefits
- Teaching baseball skills to players.
- Coach games against the other Camp teams.
- Team size is approximately 14 players.
- All camp employees are provided sleeping quarters separate
from the players (with the exception of our Central Region
location) but are responsible for their team at all times during
the week-long camp.
- Facilities at each camp may vary but all locations provide
comfortable accommodations.
- Salary plus meals, laundry, towels, and bed linens.
- Camp sessions run from Sunday afternoon through the following
Friday morning.
- Transportation is not provided.
Counselor Position Responsibilities and Benefits
- Assist Coach in teaching baseball skills to players.
- Assist Coach during games against other camp teams.
- Help supervise other recreational camp activities such as
swimming.
- Team size is approximately 14 players.
- All camp employees are provided sleeping quarters separate
from the players (with the exception of our Central Region
location) but are responsible for their team at all times during
the week-long camp.
- Facilities at each camp may vary but all locations provide
comfortable accommodations.
- Salary plus meals, laundry, towels and linens.
